Expedition Operators Association Nepal (EOA-Nepal) is a non-profit organization established on 18 October 2008 (02 Ashoj 2065). We promote climbing and mountaineering while valuing the fragile mountain systems, local economy and vulnerable communities. We serve as a common platform for all the expedition operators and stakeholders (other organizations, institutions, and benefactors) of Nepal for the best interests of our members to jointly work for the betterment of the industry by advancing best mountain practices. We also assess, catalogue, conserve, manage and mitigate the hazards of peaks of the Nepalese Himalaya. Besides our engagements in Nepal, we also cooperate with the stakeholders for the smooth and responsible operation of expeditions in India, Pakistan, and Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
